Data Notes

Data come from annual NYSED public district enrollment files. The 2025-26 figures are preliminary BEDS Day counts; earlier benchmarks are final. Only districts operating a complete K-12 program are included. Percentages use NYSED's full PreK-12 district enrollment total, covering prekindergarten through grade 12. NYSED-suppressed subgroup values are not estimated.
